1 Overview

Meadows ("we", "our", "the App") is a focus and habit tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

Meadows is designed to work offline. The vast majority of your data never leaves your device.

3 Data stored on your device

All app data — including your tasks, focus sessions, tags, coins, animals, and habitat — is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device using PowerSync. This data:

If you clear the app data or uninstall Meadows, all locally stored data is permanently lost. We cannot recover it for you.

4 Crash reporting (Sentry)

We use Sentry (sentry.io) to automatically detect and report crashes and errors. This helps us identify and fix bugs quickly.

Sentry may collect the following when a crash or error occurs:

Sentry does not collect:

Sentry data is processed on Sentry's servers. Sentry's own privacy policy applies to this data and is available at sentry.io/privacy.

6 Device identifiers

Meadows generates a random UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) when the App is first installed. This identifier:

Your UUID cannot be used to identify you as an individual. It is not linked to your name, email, or device identity.

7 Children's privacy

Meadows is designed for users of all ages, including children. We take children's privacy seriously:

If you believe a child has used the App without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will address your concern.

8 Data retention

Local data — stored on your device indefinitely until you uninstall the App, clear app data, or use the in-app reset function.

Sentry crash data — retained by Sentry according to their data retention policy (typically 90 days). We do not control this retention period. Please refer to Sentry's privacy policy for details.

We do not retain any personal data on our own servers because we do not collect any.

9 Your rights

Because all your app data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

For any questions about Sentry's data (anonymous crash reports), you may contact us and we will do our best to assist, or contact Sentry directly.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have additional rights. Please contact us if you wish to exercise these rights.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you within the App before the new policy takes effect.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
